Education Sales Specialist – belif Skincare | New York, NY | Field-Based Contract | 6 Months

Drive sales growth and brand expansion for belif Skincare across premium retail locations in the New York region. This field-based contractor role focuses on maximizing market coverage at Sephora, ULTA, and Macy's locations within a 50-mile radius of Manhattan.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Title: Education Sales Specialist

• Type: Contract 

• Duration: 6 months (July 1, 2026 – January 1, 2027)

• Hours: 20 hours per week

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm EST

• Start Date: July 1, 2026

• Work Type: Field Work (field-based, no specific office location)

• Reporting Location: New York HQ (One Liberty Plaza, New York)

COMPENSATION:

• Marketplace Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

• One-way mileage reimbursement (from home to store)

• Parking reimbursement for store visits

TERRITORY & LOGISTICS:

• Territory: New York, NY region (50-mile radius of Manhattan)

• Retail Locations: Sephora, ULTA, and Macy's

• Travel Requirements: Field-based role traveling throughout territory to visit various retailers

• Equipment Required: Reliable car (required for position)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES & PERFORMANCE:

• Monitor, analyze, and drive sales across Sephora, ULTA, and Macy's locations within designated territory

• Drive sales growth and surpass last year's figures for the NY, NY region

• Develop and grow client bases within core belif locations to boost sales

• Leverage connections to expand belif brand presence through retail partnerships and client acquisition

• Manage daily, monthly, and seasonal tracking of retail performance in territory

• Ensure all reporting is accurate and timely

PRODUCT EDUCATION & TRAINING:

• Provide comprehensive product education and selling techniques to staff at Sephora, ULTA, and Macy's

• Conduct regular store visits for staff training and education

• Coach store associates on their responsibilities to enhance sales performance

• Train associates to improve productivity by developing selling and customer service skills

• Organize events and product demonstrations to maximize sales impact

• Prepare materials for events and promotional programs

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING & MARKET INTELLIGENCE:

• Build strong, lasting relationships with leadership and associates at retail locations

• Connect with account executives and staff from competing brands

• Stay informed about trends within each business segment

• Identify key drivers affecting performance in Sephora, ULTA, and Macy's landscape

• Assess and enhance sales performance across accounts

REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience building, training, and delivering customer-facing product demos and training programs

• Demonstrated ability to manage retail performance tracking (daily, monthly, seasonal)

• Track record of driving sales and brand growth in retail environments

• Experience working with premium beauty or retail brands preferred

SKILLS:

• Coaching skills

• MS Office proficiency

• Strong communication and presentation abilities

• Sales acumen and customer service orientation

• Ability to travel and work independently in field environment

• Detail-oriented with strong reporting and organizational skills
