Emergency Medicine Physician – $616K + $50K Bonus | W2 & 1099 Options | Devils Lake, ND

COMPENSATION:

W2 Employee (Living in Community):

• Base: $250/hr + $10/hr quality bonus (paid quarterly)

• Annualized: ~$561,600 (based on 2,160 hours/year)

• Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 (forgivable loan over 3 years)

• Benefits: Employer-paid health insurance (HSA option), CME allowance, 401(k) Safe-Harbor (3% company contribution), professional liability insurance included

1099 Independent Contractor (Living in Community):

• Base: $275/hr + $10/hr quality bonus (paid quarterly)

• Annualized: ~$615,600 (based on 2,160 hours/year)

• Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 (forgivable loan over 3 years)

• Paid professional liability insurance

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time, 12-hour shifts (day/night/weekend rotations)

• Mid-level support during peak hours

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced 10,000-volume ER

• Perform advanced procedures: intubations, chest tubes, critical care

• Work collaboratively with mid-level support and clinical team

• Manage diverse medical conditions and emergency resuscitations

• Maintain clinical excellence and patient safety standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• MD or DO degree

• ABEM certification preferred

• 3+ years FM/IM with extensive emergency medicine experience

• 250+ case logs within the past year

• ACLS, PALS, ATLS certifications required

• Eligible for North Dakota Medical License

• Proficiency in emergency procedures and airway management

• Meditech EHR experience preferred
